By accessing or using Contractor OS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Contractor OS is a business management platform designed for general contractors. The Service includes tools for lead management, estimating, project management, invoicing, scheduling, contract generation, and financial reporting. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches

4. Subscription & Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan
• All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
• Free trial periods do not require a credit card and convert to paid only with your explicit action

5. 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with Contractor OS within 60 days of your first paid subscription, contact us at support@gcos.app for a full refund. This guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Contractor OS. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your business data, including but not limited to:

• Client and lead information
• Estimates, contracts, and invoices
• Project details, photos, and documents
• Financial records and reports

You may export your data at any time. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for 90 days to allow for retrieval, after which it may be permanently deleted.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

8. Limitation of Liability

Contractor OS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though data retrieval remains available for 90 days.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
